Yeah they didn’t change too much. Though the way they changed them was pretty half-assed. I loved X, but having the fundoshi as a high level crafting reward, only to get some white shorts was pretty sad. Covering up Linlee was fine, but the textures they used just made the outfits look bad. It’s minor complaints, but…

It’s cool that he wants to make everybody happy. Though it’s really not necessary to cater towards people that would never buy the game in the first place. I think most Xeno fans just want the game without any changes. Xenosaga always had some risque elements in it with the unlockable swimsuits and people love to play…

Nintendo announced a Metroid game...and then they announced and demoed another one! And it’s coming this year! As a huge fan, I had to quickly whip up some fanart.

Well it looked like you can unlock a ton of blades and changing your blades (support characters) changes the weapon you hold. Late in the demo, the main character switched to one of the alien looking guys and he was then weilding an axe.

So I also watched the full demonstration yesterday so I know what you’re talking about. I did not catch the fact that you can control 3 blades. It looked to me like they were your party blades. So this would mean you have less skills per character, but easier control over your party. I’m cool with that. Honestly there…

How simplified is the battle system? It looks like combos and topples are still in, but you seem to have way less skills available at a time than before.

I’m sure most companies looked at last year and thought “Ok let’s plan for less people this time, make it a bit more open.” Then once plans were set, E3 was like, “SURPRISE, open to the public!” and the industry let out a collective “Fuck.”

I would say this is the result of “hot memes” and “lets plays.” Good to see the trailer showing Bubsy is staying true to his roots...of looking really really bad.

well Pokken is more for the many MANY people that didn’t buy a Wii U. While MK8 Deluxe was a tough decision, it’s the battle mode and portability that made it worth it to me. That and I sold the last 2 karts on ebay to pay for it. :)
