The fan edits don't. But the prequels are still terrible films. The fan edits I've seen made me appreciate the good parts, but also how terrible the prequels were and most of it came down to editing and deciding which scenes to keep.

Found footage is a cheat code that rarely works in my opinion. It's like holding somebodies head in one direction where they are unable to look away and it forces tension because the movie makers can't build it with the normal tools of the trade.

This is the only comedy on TV i can stomach besides Curb. That might be because it's the kind of comedy I appreciate, but beyond the darkness it has it's own genuine soul and respect of craft. Seinfeld on crack, but I would say a true deconstruction with Seinfeld as a blueprint.
