Indeed.  Most fans, especially TNG fans want a Trek show focused on exploring and discovering and meeting aliens, which Star Trek has never done, to be honest, plus what makes stories work is drama and conflict, and TNG fans don’t want that.  And they seem to hate action-focused stories.  There really is no way to

I agree this was one of the series’ stronget outings, but the excitement of the climactic battle was somewhat undermined by a number of issues:

C’mon! There’s no pleasing you people. This episode had Timey-Wimey stuff, lots of shuttlepod business, a Vulcan reenactment of Ordinary People, canon porn and Michelle Yeoh being sassy while using her martial arts skills. Solid hour of Trek!

As a fan, I love it. Columbus hasn’t ever done a goddamn thing. Let’s do a goddamn thing.

You know what, I wish Andromeda had been Bioware’s last game. Yes it was flawed but at least it was trying to change it up, most of the errors like facial glitches were easily fixable, and most of the flaws were down to a ridiculously short dev cycle bereft with office politics bullshit.

I feel like the whole “wait, how does all of Starfleet know about Section 31?” thing could be easily explained: just expand on the hints in the very beginning of the first season that Discovery was originally a Section 31 project. Remember how that black badge confused Michael when she saw one on a guard in

I’m conservative, and feel the same way about that white supremacist. Neither of our communities have any room for tolerance or pride for these people. They’re the exception—the horrible exception—and you and I are in this together, from our different sides. Thanks for your condemnation of the idiocy on your side. I

Eh, I’ll give Bregman a pass for the sheer joy of seeing Tucker Carlson losing his shit.

Of course you hate the other Democrat candidates. This is because the candidate you like is not a Democrat. Bernie registered as a Dem to run in 2016, then promptly left the party afterwards. That’s OK! But don’t bitch about Democrats not being Democratic Socialists. They aren’t the same thing.

All of these lukewarm, liberal neocons, with politically expedient reversals of practice and belief, who in any other modern country would be right of center, are the ones that need to GTFO

Yeah...it’s annoying and I wish Bernie had more people in his camp that would just say, “No, bud, it’s over. Enjoy that Senate salary and consider retirement.”, but alas here we are.

As a Bernie supporter that voted for him in the primaries in 2016:

I feel like The Orville, when it tries, sometimes is able to be the sort of moral commentary type show that TNG was. But then it does ridiculous shit like the whole Bortas is addicted to porn episode. Or grows a mustache. The attempts at commentary are so on-the-nose and un-subtle, and there’s just way too much time

It’s funny you can’t even say “Cleveland called”.

“There’s no valid financial reason for the vast majority of Republican voters to vote Republican.”

How To Vote Your Interest:

This week on the Orville: a plot Star Trek did better 20 years ago, but we added a fart joke! Emmy please!

He’s really not that bad. D’Angelo Russell was another “failed #2 overall” for the Lakers. He left and is now a borderline all star. And Lonzo’s first 1.5 seasons were better than Russell’s.

That Ghostbusters reboot was baaaddddd.

Missandei. All day erry day.
