The teaser poster looks promising. I hope they escue the low production looking value of the movie add go full Blade Runner with it. Establish a city where it’s not unusual for a judge to walk around in an oversized eagle and badge who summarily executes perps.

I wonder will this tie in with Legion and have a new actor playing Professor X. Whats worrying me is that they havent mentioned the work mutant. Why would Fox not just get them to develop in the same sandbox.

“They have always been here, hiding in the shadows”

“it’s pretty ridiculous that it’s so impossible to get solid sales numbers for comic books in a world where we can get them for pretty much every other entertainment medium around”

The first Hellboy movie was the only comic book movie my sister ever said she liked. The characters, the plot, the emotional investment etc... This one seems like it’s going down a different path, which is fine too

Clearly Spider Sense is not a thing in this movie anyway, Ned fairly effortlessly got the drop on him there

I thought we had come so far since the 90's... but I guess not :(

The Battle of Yonkers and most of the larger set pieces were all recounted(IIRC). My suggestion is that every episode should be is one actor for a half hour recounting his story to the interviewer post WWZ.

Do you not think the natural flow plot flow of the book would translate to the screen? Sure, there is no specific character to follow, but the fight for human survival should be enough. You could argue the movie shouldn’t have focused so much on one character.

Cool cool, same diff.

Tyler James Williams was very likable, I actually was really liking his characters introduction, until they literally pulled him apart...

a likable Muslim American whose nerves are, let’s say, jangled, because he’s flown solo for too long in zombieland. Of the pair, the former is likelier to survive the looming conflict

“Cars” is very clearly set in the same universe as Stephen King’s “Trucks”, which later became the movie “Maximum Overdrive”. In 1973 (the publication date, and fictional date of the story) Cars, trucks and planes became conscious and enslaved the human race. The story ends there, but over the next 40 years, the

This book is made for a proper TV adaptation. Every week could be a new interview, one book interview per week. No flashbacks or dramatic music, just “In Treatment” style narrative accounts in a single set with smaller well known actors to recount tales of WWZ.

Ryan Murphy told E! Online the new season will not cast actors to play Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, but instead use real footage from the 2016 Election for all of their scenes.

if anyone needs Clare Temple though its The Punisher :(

At least her cameo in this would make way more sense than it did in Jessica Jones. How does a regular ER nurse theorize to get an IV into a man with unbreakable skin you have to wedge the needle it into his cornea. That was really a stretch.

Gah, I really wanted to see Pitt as cable. His proven comedic anarchic timing would have worked well in this movie. Also he very much looks the part, a less comic book more leaner cable

Good, I think it’s clunky when actors play their own relatives/ancestors, especially in non comedic properties. It would have been jarring and taken from the show.

I remember when I was a kid reading the original Xmen gold and blue. The most convoluted character in it was one mutant from the future.
