Great, one person agrees. And since when was Ghostbusters such a revered movie that it can not be remade. Its not exactly the Godfather or something

Yea, valid point, and I like crass. Definitely rehashing a story is not something you can accuse only this movie of. I don’t think I'll head out to the multiplex to watch it, but Im hopeful that I can sit at home and enjoy it for what it is in 6-8 months, like I did the Robocop reboot
Am I the only one who thinks the hate leveled towards Ghostbusters is really unwarranted and verging on misogynistic????
I blame Netflix for my 2-3 lost weekends a year. (Jessica Jones, Daredevil and House of Cards). People say to me “Netflix is not making you watch all the episodes at once”. Would you say to a junkie “Nobody is making you take the drugs.”
tl;dr, Netflix is like a drug dealer
I wanted to wait to reply to this post until I was back in, well, work I suppose, I’ve been replying to the rest of them on my ipad. I hope you still see this...
Agreed, this is an insightful post...
Great, thanks for the recommendation, been meaning to get around to watching that. Will line it up for this weekend so
I know right?, that movie rocked. First R rated comic book movie. I think he just had a solid story board to work from. I even liked the ending he put on it that diverged from the source material
I Love that clip man :) MontyPython classic
No man, sorry this is not the Nolanverse(tdk trilogy) at all at all, brand new start, as far as this movie is concerned Batman 1-3 did not happen . I’m glad Ayers got to set up the new joker rather than Snyder, otherwise the joker world probably be wearing a neck chain of human ears or something
I know, I know, I get angry at myself for setting myself up to be hurt all over again :’( but come on, so many reasons to hope, David Ayers, Will Smith, Margorete Robbie this time could be different
I guesse we’re both “contrarian asshole”s then because I agree with every statement you’ve made. The DCU really needs saving from Snyder, I’m praying Ayers and Affleck can do that. eh btw... your idea of a two parter Affleck red hood movie sounds a..maz...ing... you needed to get a treatment of that to someone stat!
Spot on, that’s exactly what it was, that’s why I really liked it. Loved the looked of the tracer bullets in it too
You certainly can join team Cautiously Optimistic sir... glad to have you on board. Our battle cry is an inside voice chant “We have managed expectations, not too high, not too low, to help us cope with our elation or disappointment with the final product”. Might be a little bit wordsy actually...
I’m cautiously optimistic about this movie. It’s sans Synder, a great cast,an excellent director who is very skilled directing an ensemble cast(see the very enjoyable “Fury”) and the marketing color palette is trendy out.
It’s just too damn long. Network shows really have to pad their crap to stretch to 20 episodes. They should be 10-13 episodes max.
There is Allot to like in AoS, such as Daisy begging HIVE to take her back, I really didn’t know which way that scene was going to go, and it was masterfully acted. I was kind of :'( for…
Why is it taking soo long for any furniture company to get on this craze. Imagine how well these mirrors would sell from ikea
Just after watching “Neil Gaiman’s Likely Stories”. This is a way more left field strange, high quality anthology. I recommend it. Well worth sourcing, much more the spiritual successor to Twilight Zone IMO.
Lego is usually a fairly reliable(?) source for spoilers. For AntMan they had lego sets with the old and a new suit, a good while before the movie release. We could be looking at the Dc. Strange big bad there, a tenticled thingamijig
I wonder will the include the craziness that was in the novel, It being a millennium old creature that is a brother or sister to a turtle that created the universe...
