Robin Hood: Origins
Robin Hood: Origins
Kenneth Branagh wasn't a particularly well regarded director at the time of release. Certainly nothing as big budget as Thor. It was also mostly a critical and commercial success. Not a run away of a movie by any stretch but a decent franchise introduction. I liked it.
Ridley Scott just wants to add another epic to his collection. IMO he ruined “The Martian”. Based on the material from the book, that could have been a really enjoyable hour and a half R rated movie, with plenty of cursing and humor in it. Instead he gave us an overlong, sanitized version that actually omitted several…
Is it bad of me to really miss the push up black outfit :(
Can I suggest Beowulf: Return to the ShieldLands for inclusion. Its a very good (IMO) English tv show based on English mythology (so there are plenty of monsters and magic). Its been accused of imitating GoT, but honestly I don’t see how you can write an Epic Fantasy TV show without imitating GoT... except for the…
And the entire death star plot was ruined in episode 4 and again in episode 5
Decent results result, sure its not quantity but its quality.
That’s some serious soundtrack knowledge there aj!
What was it called?
On the cloud Atlas thing, what were they thinking casting the same actors to play multiple races/sexes? In the book only the main character was reincarnated, and this was indicated by a birthmark, not a facial similarity.
This tv show was great but I can’t see the business advantage for them to drop all episodes at once? I personally hate the Netflix broadcast model, it’s really disappointing to see new networks moving this direction.
The more I see/hear of this movie the more I’m worried about this, and by extension DC Cinematic Universe and by extension Comic Cinematic universe. It could all come falling down due to one guy, Scott Snyder.
The only thing that bothers me about this TV show.... only thing... is the electronic hand made for Ash. It seems like a lazy way for the writers to have Bruce Campbell wear a glove and use it as if he hasn’t lost an appendage.
Yea, right? Are they going to explain that at all I wonder... I was dubious enough about someone just sticking a face onto themselves with a belt

Note: We’re putting discussion of what appears to be a major spoiler below this series of new images. If you want to avoid it this close to the movie, please skip ahead to the “Captain America: Civil War” segment, and avoid the comments section. Last warning!
Peter Capaldi says he doesn’t want a male companion to replace Clara:
thanks buddy! I'm going to try that this evening. Plenty of paperclips in the office...
hah, I like the fact that my one recommendation is from a user name “Grumpyfan” :p
