Why did they spend 3 movies and countless dollars to setup a newer hard edged Bourne-ish Bond franchise to just fall back on all the ridiculous Bond tropes in Craig’s possible final movie. These tropes fit ok into 60s/70s movies but they just didn’t feel right when they are used in a non pastiche manner in modern day.
