This has to be the most extreme. The Australian soap opera Chances.

Without Jeeves Wooster would have no hope
This review is a bit overly harsh. I thought it was a nice quiet episode adding plenty of depth to two of the characters, Carl and Michonne obviously. I understand Carls character a bit more now, if anything he has become less annoying. His couple of mistakes were not down to incompetence but bad luck. For a 14 year…
Great write up, now I realise I need to rewatch this episode more closely... possibly not after drinking a half bottle of wine while fluttering around in the internet :P
Does anyone have the Observer Deck link with the commentator who dissects the episodes for every little bit if marvel tidbit contained in it?
ah closer to 3 I suppose, that's how long it takes to cross Ireland, east to west mind, not south to north
When I was a kid(80s) all my holidays consisted of trips to the west coast of Ireland, about a 2 hour car drive. It was damp, grey, drissley, cold even in the middle of summer, it was beautiful. Now anytime I'm anywhere sunny I don't get a holiday feeling from it. For the last 10 years my holidays have been finding…
Are high walls each side of highways common in the US? When I was watching the Matrix Reloaded, the chase scene was cool and all, but the walls just reminded me that it was a set and kind of took from it.
This video of the corridor scene from 6 different perspectives really shows off how technically masterful that scene was. It was so refreshing to see something new, surprising and real looking on screen, in an age of CG over-dependance.
Is Jeremy Irons old enough to play Alfred to a middle age batman? The thing I liked about Michael Caine was that he was the age you would expect from a family butler in the service for 40 odd years. Jeremy Irons doesnt look old enough to have raised Ben Afleck.
Thats actually a pretty nifty disguise tbh
Exactly, I hope someone at SyFy is reading this and realizes that the made to be ironically bad movies like Sharknado or whatever are just plain bad.
"functions as shovel, hammer, crowbar, woodworking chisel, saw, and bottle opener,"
Yea, that's the first thing I thought of too reading it,but tbd Rorschach's journal prose was based on noir
That's it?!? There was more footage in the rat thing. gah, internet is making teasers and hyping unbearably drawn out
Sounds really good, it goes into my to-read list. Annoyingly I hate trade paperbacks and e-readers so I have to wait the 6 months until it might come out in mass-market paperback. Its just a better size and print layout than the trade paper backs
"We have yet to hear the Machine call itself "she," for example"
And you never will I'd say, he and she are 3rd person. Also I think the term male and female are a bit biological for the machine. Root just has a female God complex.
Why would anyone wait several days/weeks/months a local airing of a show... I know the technology to watch these shows hours after they stream anywhere in the world is not exactly fair to broadcasters, but it's our last remaining option. I'll take that option anytime
