Impressively ugly.
Impressively ugly.
What a time to be alive, when the mortal enemy of progressive agendas is a fast food chicken restaurant.
Trucks are crazy expensive now. I have an 06 Duramax, pricing out a 2019 Duramax of similar options puts it way over $60k, nearly $20k more than my truck new back in 06, it’s madness and the reason I have no plans to get a new truck any time soon.
I’m a fan of Fumoto oil drain valves in place of plugs. Slide the drain pan under the car and flip the valve open, nice and mess free.
The STI is pretty underpowered imo. Compare it to a Camaro 1SS or Mustang GT, which both cost within $1000 of the STI, they clear 0-60 more than a full second faster than the STI.
It’s not really fair to compare rail in the US to rail in Japan or Europe, the size difference makes it apples to oranges. Even if we did have high speed rail it would still be faster to fly anywhere outside the region you live in, the US is just really large.
Most touch screens in cars are just crappy and don’t have intuitive interfaces. Honestly, older cars that you can easily swap a double din aftermarket radio into are superior, because then you can get an Android based head unit with touch screen, far superior to any stock touch screen radio I’ve ever used.
I think overlanding is pretty cool, something about combining off-roading and camping into one activity just tickles my fancy. I don’t have any sort of crazy set up like some of these folks, but you can get a decent bit done in a regular 4x4 truck, some good tires, and camping supplies in the bed.
Big fan of 4 Runners and big fan of diesels, but that is crazy.
The cabin air filter was removed from all Silverados in 04 iirc, nothing to do with the Duramax. I think you are getting trucks mixed up with the cab lift, that is very common on Fords, not common on Chevy or Dodge. The hardest things to do with cab on are probably head gaskets and turbo, but nothing crazy. I just…
So is Boeing or the FAA going to get sued or both?
This is what I came here to post. People would absolutely destroy these things driving over them.
But you made it uglier.
Decommissioning the Truman wouldn’t bring us down to 10 flat tops, it would bring us down to 10 carriers. We have flat top amphibs as well.
Isuzu is one of the top diesel manufacturers in the world. If you ever visit southeast Asia or Japan you will see their trucks every where.
That car is incredibly ugly, looks like a compressed minivan, hard pass. The last gen hatchback is far better looking.
All common rail diesels(i.e. all modern diesels) are picky when it comes to cleanliness of fuel and do not handle water well. Long gone are the days of the mechanical injector diesels, like the 6BT Cummins, that can handle practically any fuel that could be compressed to combust. The EPA saw to their demise, they…
Agree to disagree, that is an impressively lame looking car.
All soft top convertibles are ugly.
What bank takes weeks to refund a fraudulent charge on a debit card? Sounds like something Bank of America would do. I use NFCU, I’ve had my debit card skimmed twice, about 3 years apart, both times the money was refunded by the next day.
