All I can keep thinking of are those jet tech reports:

Just reading utterly nonsensical lines (when taken out of context) with an absolutely straight face (I am your father-scene aside) without a counterpart to give you feedback. Of course he went to voice acting afterwards! And lucky for us, he was even better there than he was in Star Wars. Although that might also have

@kagekiri: I don't think the "nice guys finish last" myth is true. However, I do think that a lot of the time, women behave just like men in that if you give them what they want, they're bound to take it for granted.

If this goes for sound advice these days, I'm starting to question medical school.

@NyQuilPillz: You could use one of Wacom's tablets. The more expensive ones are basically touchscreens.

@Gimmi Mørgäikkönën: I always rather enjoyed the Nemesis/Loki chassis. More than Marauders and Catapults, in any case.

@scoobydoo: Except when they deleted purchased books from Kindles.

@MrRainMan: The pain in your arm, I strongly suspect.

Goes well with your entire appartment if you've gone steampunk all the way.

@hostile-17: I see what you did there, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Zenonia 1 and 2 for cheap as well (99cents and $2 respectively, iirc).

@Nihilexistentialist: See, that's what I don't do: Watch a movie and then go on and on about it online. I discuss it with friends, I may recommend it, but that's the extent of it.

@vinod1978: I have a phone that does one thing, and one thing only: Make calls. It doesn't even have a colour display. But it runs for two weeks without a charge.

@Nihilexistentialist: Kudos to you if you picked that up when watching the movie. I didn't, even after seeing it three times. Then again, I didn't mind the suspended ending in the first place.

@RuckingFetard: Unlimited data plans/flat rates are available, but sooner or later your speeds will get capped. I know for a fact that a lot of European countries have telcos who offer basically unlimited data - even prepaid (which is the route I took in Germany). And actually, the prepaid option is often

@firite: It's a sensible solution almost everywhere else as well. The fact of the matter is that telcos stand to lose profits by enabling this option, so unless lawmakers force telcos to do it, that's that.

@vinod1978: It can be useful in a variety of settings. For example, there is no outgoing WiFi (only intranet) at my hospital unless you connect to a remote desktop at speeds that make snails look like Formula 1 cars.

For one thing, it's a great movie.
