@norazi: Typewriters have a definite upside over computers: They're typewriters. Completely analogue (unless you use a digital one, in which case, ignore this one), perfect tactile feedback, satisfying audible feedback and, best of all, no Clippy!

@Clancycoop: Autocorrect sucks when you write in more than one language, though.

@GundamX67: We're gonna need a bigger bullet...

@ps61318: I tip my hat to you.

The price isn't very attractive, knowing that it'll come down faster than a heroin addict stuck with naloxone.

@johnnyabnormal: Heh, a couple of years ago, I didn't have the money to buy a new bike and I was stuck with this cheapish, low quality Walmart-like deal. The original 24 speeds had dropped to about 3 because the whole thing was bent and disjointed to hell and back, the fork was off center and I'd had to replace

@johnnyabnormal: "just" being the operative word here. I've been riding bikes for as long as I can think, and I've managed to screw up more chains and derailleurs than I care to count. It really all depends on how badly you wreck it and how badly you want to fix it. In my opinion, it usually ends up being worth taking

Maybe Uranus, but not mine. Or Europa, for that matter, because he'd have a thing or two to say about that.

The bit with the cars and the city ruined it for me.

@Joe Stoner: It's Moore's lesser known second law: Unless you own the latest tech, it will bite you in the ass.

@RofferJak: For just a moment there, I read an "F" instead of a "T"...

@thecast: I'll steal your magic broom and use my crossbow to blast a path through the town militia and their halberds.

Really, what is the point of this thing?

Homepage: I like to start my iPod and iPad browser with an empty page. I've found that when using either device, I usually have a very specific destination in mind and don't necessarily want to browse - especially when I'm on a limited data plan.

@SEDAGIVE?!: That's very observant of you. Politicians have been doing just this for decades.

I've never owned a Nokia phone, but I've used plenty of them over the years, sometimes as replacement units, sometimes in a pinch.

@MMBman7171: I completely agree that, generally speaking, the iPod touch is a nice little gadget. However, if you're springing for it, the iPhone is worth a thought because it goes the whole distance. The iPod is basically useless without WiFi.

I suppose anything that motivates people to work out is more or less of a good thing, but really, that woman is slightly scary...
