When the switch officially happens, I will no longer be able to comment while at work because our network will refuse to allow me to login using social networks. This greatly disappoints me. While everyone else goes out for a 5 minute smoke break, I'm on the 'net. Won't be worth it if I have to load up the site on my

We were using our iPad 2 and new iPad in our bedroom together and noticed that the new iPad was getting a lower wifi signal than the iPad 2. [Speedtest.net] results showed nearly a 1Mbps difference in speeds on the 2 devices. We moved around the room a little a did a couple more tests with similar results. I tried

I can imagine trying to come up with a new name that isn't trademarked or licensed throughout the entire world market for cellular phones and continuing to make something unique every time that is completely relevant to the technology and the brand. It's got to be very difficult.

I think it's the same problem people had with the iPhone 4S. People are expecting an exponential technical leap in each iteration of the product.

We didn't have ANY iPads until 2 days before the release of the new iPad (3rd gen). We were at Best Buy and there was an open box iPad 2 for $350. We snatched it up. We already had a 3rd gen pre-ordered and due to arrive on Friday, March 16th (had to watch it sit in on a truck 2 hours away for an entire week!). Friday

When looking at Boost Mobile phones and plans 6-8 months ago, their highest-end Android phone was running Android 1.5. Now they have the Samsung Prevail, which is much better, but still runs on 2.2. I can imagine this is partially to blame.

I use a QR Code in my email signature. So if someone wants a digital business card that can be quickly imported into a Phone Contact, they just snap a photo of the QR code and all of my info is there for them. I've considered doing this on actual business cards as well.

We've got an iPad 2 and an iPad 3rd Gen. When in the bedroom, above the living room that holds the wireless N router, we have noticed that the wifi signals bounces around a lot on the 3rd gen and is generally weaker. We haven't done any speed tests, but it's noticeable enough with everyday use.

Google has to take some control over some things.

My daughters (9 and 12) had Nintendo DS Lite's. Around holiday 2009 we decided to purchase them each a 2nd generation iPod Touch. These completely replaced the DS Lite's and we were able to sell of that hardware at a garage sale for a decent return.

If you have an iPad already this list is kinda funny because Apple has posted this list in the App Store on the "Featured" tab. For those that don't have an iPad this list could be useful.

While Samsung could provide a similar device with similar or better specs, it still wouldn't be an iOS device. It would be Android. And that still makes a difference.

Agreed. Would it really be that much more to put in a (minimum) 2MP sensor on the front to at least improve VOIP/FaceTime conversations?

Curious if Valve (the games industry publisher/developer behind the popular Steam downloadable storefront) has any legal issues with Comcast using the term "SteamPix?"

It's clear that Microsoft has some big plans for Windows 8 (and 9). It may not be apparent from the start, but Microsoft is trying to out-due Apple in the long run.

I have 4 kids! You think I'm gonna leave my phone unprotected? You got to be crazy! Otterbox that @#*$%!

I'm actually surprised at how good my speeds were in this test. iPhone 4 AT&T 3G. I'm definitely looking forward to the new iPhone (5th generation) later this year, which is surely to have LTE included. Thankfully AT&T launched it's LTE network in my city recently so it will be useful to me and I won't be using the

I know someone who purchased an iPad 2 about 1 month ago. I picked on that person a little bit because they had no clue that a new iPad was going to launch. They were completely surprised. Of course, I would assume that if you are one of these people that you will be just fine with an iPad 2 (...er 2nd Generation?).

AT&T will never let you change your data plan without ridding you of that "unnecessary" unlimited data plan. Once you change your data plan you can never...ever... go back.
