The only problem I see with 3D phones is the lack of the ability to control the 3D effect al la Nintendo 3DS.

You can do all of this by creating an HTML file on your local machine. You don't need a server for that. Also; isn't this just asking for malicious code to be posted to their website? I'm curious if they are stripping code that might look to be malicious.

Here's a suggestion: delete everything after the last / in the url. DONE! No add-ons, extensions or plug-ins required. Will this always take you to where you think you're going to go? No. But do the extensions do any better?

I've got an original iPhone that I use (basically) as an iPod Touch. It isn't on a cellular plan.

I agree that Microsoft should just use currency. However, switching to currency won't fix the problem. They still have to offer gift cards and such at retail for those that don't have or don't want credit cards and for gifts to give to other people. It's the unique numbers on these cards that still has to exist and

If you use firebug in Firefox, stick with it. firebug in Chome is up to par with it's Firefox counterpart. Chome's developer tools are good for other reasons, but I can't get away from firebug in Firefox.

This is a move in the right direction for offering services that make the $50/yr actually valuable.

Online multiplayer should be free, but if Microsoft insists on charging, it should consider adding a middle-tier to its XBL subscriptions. So there will be Bronze, Silver, and Gold memberships where Bronze is the equivalent of the current Silver - Silver adds online multiplayer for < $20/yr - and Gold is $60/yr and

I used to pay $20 up to $40 per month for unlimited DVD rentals through the mail from Blockbuster. this is because I could return my through-the-mail DVDs to the store and trade them for rentals in the store. this was a genius plan and it worked great for my family. too bad blockbuster is struggling.

This is a hard one to pin-point. In the case of an Xbox 360, if you don't pay for the complete package up-front you end up paying way too much for everything you add later.

I just don't understand the math here. You pay $15 for 250MB, but then you're told that 1GB is worth $10. 1GB is over 4 times 250MB (250MB X 4 = 1000MB, 1G = 1024MB). This means by your initial cost 1GB is a "value" of $60 and you get it at a "discounted price" of $10. If my math is right that's an 84% discount when

iTunes on Windows is a great product. There are settings to stop devices from trying to automatically sync. The software doesn't bog down your system and you can manage how much additionally memory it uses for devices you do sync. It keeps your files organized. I don't expect this to change your mind, but I am curious

That article is not apples-to-apples. They use a $2500 3d TV for PS3, then use a $1000 HDTV for Xbox 360, then a $450 720p HDTV for Wii. This difference alone puts the PS3 at a disadvantage when 3D gaming isn't even all that big on PS3 right now.

Linux Live CD's are a great way to scan for viruses that your installed Windows virus software may not catch.

Ok. I just read about this "Zoom" feature. You have to enable it through iTunes in order to use it.

As many tricks as I know in Windows. There's always something that I've missed. It's really sad when it's as simple as looking at the properties :/ — Thanks

Windows: Start Menu Shortcuts - change default. I want my Start Menu to be MY START MENU! A lot more people are using secondary drives for storing their files. Why does Microsoft continue to block us from changing the "My Documents", "My Videos", etc links on the start menu to point to the locations where we actually
