You can do all of this by creating an HTML file on your local machine. You don't need a server for that. Also; isn't this just asking for malicious code to be posted to their website? I'm curious if they are stripping code that might look to be malicious.

If you use firebug in Firefox, stick with it. firebug in Chome is up to par with it's Firefox counterpart. Chome's developer tools are good for other reasons, but I can't get away from firebug in Firefox.

That article is not apples-to-apples. They use a $2500 3d TV for PS3, then use a $1000 HDTV for Xbox 360, then a $450 720p HDTV for Wii. This difference alone puts the PS3 at a disadvantage when 3D gaming isn't even all that big on PS3 right now.
