Hay fever type allergies are a real problem for drivers. Attacks of sneezing, constant runny nose, watering eyes, etc., make it difficult to drive safely. Allergy symptoms also make it difficult to sleep, leading to drowsiness, which is also bad for a driver. I do not consider this subject to be “...rather weird for a

I have never hit the high miles, the most I ever put on a car was a 1983 Camry (manual transmission) that hit 144,000 miles before I sold it. Its claim to fame was that all three of my children learned to drive on it and it still had the original clutch when I sold it.

“I’ve been in Zion National Park, the only journalist who made the journey to drive some Pickman trucks, those tiny EV pickups you may have seen around.”

Does the slightly increased height make the EUV easier to get into than the regular Bolt?

Fire is not the only possible problem arriving out of untoward gas panic behavior. My daughter, an elementary school teacher, received a text containing a picture of a sign saying, “Don’t hoard gas. If we run out, teachers won’t be able to go to work and your kids will be back at home.”

If there was a transparent window to to watch the process, burritos might be fun.

The gas station situation here is worse now than it was 2 hours ago. There are six gas stations between my house and Costco, they are now all out of gas. As of 30 minutes ago, Costco still had gas. The good news is that they have plenty of toilet paper.

I just got back from a shopping trip, in northern Virginia suburbs of DC, I noticed lines at some gas stations. There were about 50 cars lined up at Costco, but they have 16 pumps so the wait was just long, not seemingly eternal. Gas prices have, of course, gone up recentrly.

It was great to meet you and Jason in Richmond. Be careful about those all-night drives, we want you to survive until we get another chance to meet you.

I have lived most of my life in the suburbs and have owned a few slow motorcycles and scooters, but I could not imagine riding in the suburbs I have lived in on a powered vehicle that had a maximum speed of 28 mph.

It does appear to be a bit smaller than other vans, which would make it more attractive to those of us with small garages. Sliding doors and a reasonable width would make it easier to load in my garage.

I will soon be 75 years old. I don’t want to tempt fate by making plans a decade in advance.

We have had many years of these subsidies and BEVs, though vastly improved, are still not attractive enough to entice as many buyers as needed to make them a major force in our auto market. This raises the question of how much does Uncle Sugar have to pay, and for how long, to change this situation?

“It is as if this is going to be a case study in future business classes on how not to go out of business like Toyota did in 2030.”

You can see the top of it, on a trailer, behind the white Falcon convertible (my favorite). It was pulled by David’s fabled Lexus.

Big spender, I checked it out of the library.

1978 Plymouth Horizon. With less than 40,000 miles, it was always broken down for some reason. The alternator fell off more than once and resisted repair. The final straw was a coolant leak so bad that it resisted repair and forced me to change my commuting route so that I could have a place to stop midway and add cool

Jason and David were great. They were welcoming and tolerant of the random misfits who showed up, even those of us who did not have interesting rides.

No.
