This is all a deception. They saw all the leaks and are throwing you off with these new leaks that are fake leaks so that they can reveal that it’s coming out tomorrow, and is launching with The Mario of Zelda: Pokémon Kazooie, where Ness and Samus team up to go 1080 Snowboarding against Andross. The system will

Also the 27th anniversary of me saying “Hot stuff coming through” every time I have to get around anyone. A timeless joke never gets old, right?

If I’m reading a review about Helldivers II, I don’t want to read about the technical problems of Kotaku’s website.

Well, yeah, they would report on it, they report on video games, not how well websites function. I’m not even defending their technical issues but do you seriously expect any website would publish an article specifically detailing all of their own technical flaws?

Yes that’s 125%. That’s why they call it Super Earth.

Do you think that the writers actually have any control over Kotaku technical limitations? Or that a game journalist shouldn’t talk about technical issues with the game he’s reviewing? This rationale makes no sense to me.

“How about a nice cup of Liber-TEA!”

But let’s all remain hopeful that 2024 is the year it finally releases

I would say that this is much closer to STARSHIP TROOPERS than Earth Defense Force, which has a much more cheesy, “Showa-era Godzilla” aesthetic to it.

Basically it’s 75% Starship Troopers, 25% Terminator, and 25% Warhammer 40K.

Well first, thank you to Kotaku for putting me onto this game. I’m having a lot of fun with it. Really looking forward to getting to Level 8+ and unlocking some of the more devastating Stratagems (and then trying out the hardest difficulties).

...lucca from chrono trigger...

Look, I’m old.

Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. She’ll sleep with anything that has a heartbeat, so I’m thinking I might actually have a chance with her IRL.

GOOD. There are too many videogames for my mid-thirties ass. I gotta catch up.

Huh? In addition to your list: God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7, the 2 Last of Us remakes/remasters, Helldivers 2, Horizon Forbidden West.

I think you might have somewhat misread every single word in the entire review.

You’ll note that my criticism is neither that they should have updated the game, nor that they shouldn’t have released the games as is. My criticism is purely the revolting nature of the message, pretending that leaving it as is, despite their full-body retching at the horror they just sold me, is some act of public

Yes, there is never bird shit under ledges on cliffs is there?

Yeah the problem is in reality a cliff that looks like that could have multiple paths to climb depending on a person’s reach, strength, balance etc. So if you make it look real it looks you SHOULD be able to climb in several places. Same as back when you should have been able to climb a waist high fence but couldn’t.

More game needs to implement Shadow of the Tomb Raider customization of various puzzle settings like the paint highlights.

in that game you could make them more or less apparent and even turn them off all together.

People are noticing that they are upset about noticing that the method of making things noticeable is working, they don’t notice how upset they’d be if they couldn’t notice something because it wasn’t noticeable.
