Came to post this. I have the core game and the Living Gods and First Steps expansions but missed the ones based on seasons 1 and 2 of the show. Now that I’m thinking about it, I should try to track them down. The system worked well and there was a lot of good lore in there.

It’s not here or in the Variety piece, but if it’s a live-action remake of the animated Team Hot Wheels, that could be interesting. I watched (and was entertained) by the first 3 with my kids. Searching for it just now, I found out there is a 4th that I’ll have to track down.

That reminds me, and I can’t find an image to go along with this one, but the cars only need oxygen in space and not underwater. Mater once towed another car across the bottom of the Pacific ocean to Tokyo. So presumably, wherever their nose is, it can filter oxygen from the water.

Oh, but the cars do need oxygen. Presumably, they just need Roger to break Earth’s gravity. Once in space, they have their own thrusters.

Yes. They will also meet aliens that are sentient vehicles (one of which is clearly bio-engineered using Mater’s DNA).

My inner child chuckled along with you.

The thing I don’t get about the outrage is that this is trademarks doing exactly what trademarks are supposed to do. I got excited when I first heard the announcement that CDPR was working on this game as I played and loved the PnP game it is based on. The trademark owned by R. Talsorian (since the 80s) let me know

Mystery packs are the worst. Fortunately, some saint in my area seems to go around cutting them all open for multiple toy lines at multiple stores. Now, sure, that means he gets all the “rare” ones, but it saves me a ton of grief/money.

It can not only save you time, but sometimes money too. Last time I used the Best Buy Canada reserve online option over the Christmas holidays, they emailed me a coupon for 10% off a future purchase.

Sure. I would put it up there as one of the better Asylum flicks I’ve watched. There was a good mix of actors who took it serious and others who knew what was going on too.

Came to post this. Just watched it a couple weeks back on Space.

This was a favourite of mine as a young lad. I was quite upset when my mom recorded over it with Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. And even more so when she went to watch it afterwards and found out she had recorded static as she didn’t know how to use the VCR.

This game. As a small gamer, I didn’t have a lot of friends to play RPGs with, but I could actually get my whole family playing this game happily. It is one of the few games that still sits on a shelf at my parents place, right with Risk and Monopoly.

Definitely clean it and throw it back on at a pool. Takes no longer than grabbing a new disposable, really. At the lake or cottage though, we bag it for later instead of dumping it; although really, practicality could win over ethics and then you would only need one.

These things are life/money savers. We bought two at a baby show direct from the manufacturer for $15 CDN when we had our first kid. Both of our children used them more than once a week, and heading into our third kid, they are still going strong. I can’t imagine the amount of money that would have been wasted buying

Honestly, I find bra sizing to be utterly fascinating.

My son does this at school as part of PhysEd. It’s become something we now do as a family and both my kids love it.

Agreed. I enjoyed the show a lot for what it was. It died too soon.

Came for this comment. Left in a cloud obscuring my body from the knees down.

I had to create an account just to tell you I am dying at my desk and now late getting home. But worth it.
