I would say if you are making 50k a year selling cars you should find another job, as the hours are not great. I don’t try hard and make 6 figures, If I wanted to bust ass I could easily do $250k per year.

What state do you live in? I sell in Michigan and have never added anything unless the customer wanted it. I also quote exact numbers over the phone or email and not 1 thing changes a penny when they come in. Seems there are dealers that haven’t changed with the times, I’m glad our dealer did!

Car still has to be detailed, gassed, onstar set up, app set up, and go over all the functions of the car. I couldn’t imagine the amount of people that would be lost just going in, and picking up the keys and driving off. Some would be fine with that most wouldn’t.
