Blue Beetle nerd alert. It was Dan Garrett*, the first Blue Beetle, who got his powers from the scarab. Ted Kord, the second Blue Beetle, couldn't get the scarab to work and was a gadget guy instead. Jaime Reyes, the third Blue Beetle, was able to completely sync with the scarab and utilized its full capabilities.

He used… sarcasm. He knew all the tricks—dramatic irony, metaphor, bathos, puns, parody, litotes, and satire.

God help me, I just went over there to look. There's a section for Political RPF, and then more specifically for 21st-century U.S. Politics.

I counted last year, and I had 138 pairs of socks. I know I got rid of some of them in my last move, but I think I bought more to make up for them, so… yeah, what I'm saying is that a sock subscription service is probably unnecessary for me.
