We need to pull this band-aid off and let Trump be Trump for a bit and show everyone what an absolute horror of a president and human being he is and get that impeachment/25th amendment solution rolling instead of propping him up to “barely even tolerable to his own people.”

this is why institutions matter an why they are a bitch to reform. even in the midst of actions that would cripple any other country that doesnt have strong, independent institutions, this country is still able to function. the executive branch is a literal cancer right now but things could be a hundred times worse…

The Trump economy? The one with flat wages. New home build prices rising 20%, to start, due to the tariffs? The one that Trump is so poorly informed about he doesn’t know if we had a trade surplus or deficit with Canada? The one that’s going to crash and burn any day now?

When the economy is booming, Republicans say that they need to eliminate SNAP benefits because they’re plenty of jobs to go around so people have no excuse to not get to work.
