What I’m getting from this whole Op-Ed is “I’m all in on screwing over the poor and the middle class, cutting taxes for the rich, eliminating regulations to keep water, air and soil safe and getting rid of immigrants (legal or undocumented) but does he have to be such a jerk about it?”

Those of us who voted for Hillary—or at least didn’t vote for Trump—tried to prevent it, sure, but we failed to turn out in the numbers required

If the conservatives are pissed off that things are no longer civil, may I point them to the words of Mitch McConnell: “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

The good news from this (such as it is) is that Trump is now going to go absolutely apeshit hounding his cabinet and aides and staff to figure out who this person is, and it will distract him from the usual damage he’d be doing.

Everything the GOP does under Trump speaks to an attitude that they are no longer the least bit accountable to the public, to laws, to decency, etc.

On a somewhat related note I have emailed my useless republican senator, Rob Portman, who has taken lots of rubles from the NRA. I said, if either of my kids are killed in a school shooting, I expect him to show up and the funeral and explain to me and my family why we can’t have gun control.

Just imagine what kind of monster Killary would have nominated to this position. The might have been *shudder* a capitalist. Glad we thought through our decisions and avoided that disaster.
