My favorite is still the rocket car part 1. When they hit the button to ignite the rocket, the car blew up.... didn't move an inch. What makes it most funny is I did a search for that footage awhile ago, and Part 2 is all over the place... yet part 1 was nowhere to be found (maybe it is now, dunno)
"As we say in the US upper midwest....hang a plow on it for a few years, plow 200 driveways a night, and then tow an overloaded lawn trailer in 95 deg heat during the 'off'' season. Year after year."
The Mythbusters rocket car was by far the most jaw dropping insane thing I've ever seen on that show.
you'll never catch me alive or.. in time???
I love the background dude's impressions.
That is crazy. I've never seen anything like that. And, I never would have thought 650 mph was THAT fast.
As if Orloving it in the first place wasn't bad enough..
This is five guys sharing a hippocampus.
You are not giving this glorious event its proper due. I'm talking motherfucking 2012 Mayan calendar madness. Not that I'm overselling.
central CT, actually. I just make the hour ride there every Saturday night for our car haha. Imo it's the perfect length for racing. Hell, a 160 hp ministock and a 380hp street stock will run identical lap times just because the track is more corner than straight and plays into each cars differences. It's also the…
I'm tired of all of his Samsung commercials. I do not ever want to hear a middle aged white guy saying "Bronbron" ever.
Get a socket wrench kit.
Try following my Sandking through the swamp down by Ft. Zancudo in your Coquette, though.
I keep seeing the "power brakes lost" issue. No. You. Do. Not. You have 2-3 power assisted stops in a vehicle that has had it's engine shut off. The Delta platform cars use vacuum assisted brake boosters. In my eyes, it's as much driver error as it is GM's faulty switches. And honestly, pushing the shifter to neutral…
It probably didn't help that in my case the steering lock came on as well, and if you turn against it you're not going to get the key turned back and unlock the steering. But like I said, I'm not sure if that would happen on these cars or if it'd happen at all with an auto in "D". My automatic Mercedes wouldn't turn…
I can't speak for these specific vehicles, but quite often the steering lock comes on when the ignition is turned off. It might get engaged when you remove the key instead though, or it might not turn far enough back to engage the steering lock while the car is in drive. In that case you'll only loose power steering…
Quite a few of them were driving way faster than the limit (IE 69 in a 30) and also not wearing seat belts, driving when not supposed to and also being drunk. They panicked and didn't have time to react.
Could you imagine going a decade believing you were at fault for a crash that killed your loved one? Candice Anderson thought it was her fault her Saturn Ion crashed and killed her boyfriend in 2004, until she found out last week her car was linked that ignition fault we keep hearing about from…
