The amount of money spent on this boondoggle which still doesn’t work is astronomic. It’s one thing to have problems, but they designed it’s manufacture such that many many many districts get money from it (so it can’t die). This also makes uniform construction exponentially difficult.

^ Right - worrying about temperatures is really a voluntary thing. You can just install your stuff at stock speeds, put on a basic cooling solution, and leave it, and as long as you clean your case every so often you shouldn’t have any issues. Overclocking and its attendant headaches and fixations are strictly opt-in.

Then stick with stocks parts and don’t overclock and don’t worry about it.  No one is forcing you to do this.
