Looking at the website, I dont see a $20/yr billing. I find $12 and $24+. Oh and the backup of your pc, well worth the $12 a year. As a tech, I can not stress this enough.

I have to agree with most of the other commenters, this has easily got to be one of the best all time acquisitions. That being said, we of course need to see what lastpass is going to do with their new found loyal followers, but their moves thus far seem to be not only on the right track, but winning the race. Thank…
@se7a7n7: +1 for a comment as awesome as the hack!
Best PC I've ever used. No. Most convenient pc, yes. I still find most smartphones are seriously lacking in ability when compared to a traditional pc. Now, I'm a power user, so I can see it from a stand point of a hobby pc user, and then it's a great pc, but lets face it, for most people, that quad core, 8gb monster…
@curtis07: um, or not, since loading that driver would invariably require you to be able to access the device as a drive, catch22.
@phil_D: No, there aren't. I've cracked the most secure BIOS passwords. Should read, there are MORE secure laptops out there.
@aThingOrTwo: Actually no, and increasing number of machine, going forward, will use UEFI. The idea is the same, but the architecture is different.
@manywaters001: There are ways to reset your password that don't require hardware hacks.
@JerryA: That still works on some desktop manufacturers, but not on any laptop I've worked on (recently).
Okay seriously.
Personally I ditched cable a long time ago for OTA. My cable company charges $5 a month for your local channels, so I was paying cable for the 4 channels I actually watched. Run a pc with Moovida and supplement with netflix/apple/amazon, and I've got most of the shows I want to watch. I can even "Tivo" it with…
@EClaus: Right, but you have to rely on them and use their terms. I think this is a viable alternative. Thanks for showing us how!
Actually a good Barista is a rare find. Granted, anyone can make coffee, but not everyone can make a good cup of coffee. It truly is an art, and one that most people fail at.
Sometimes I find myself amazed at what becomes an article on Lifehacker. Not because these things aren't pertinent or because it's "fluff", but because it's the same thing I've been screaming for the past decade.
@Wes: In reply, No.
@jcnaquin:
Whoa, I'm a Google ninja?! Now I have to go get throwing stars laser etched with the "G".
@Ghede: Because this puts it into scale for those morons we all work for/with that say stupid things like, or, just find it on the internet, how hard can it be?
@UnderLoK: Whoa, same here. Except I'm a dick at the office to. I mean seriously, I can only show you where the paper goes in the printer so many time before I want to reformat someone.
