Totally agree. But damn, getting F’ed paying $250. I pay $50 a month for Comcast internet only. 60 MBPS. I use a friend’s Netflix acc and my sister’s HBO acc (yes I am very nice to both people when I see them and buy them drinks and dinners n stuff to offset the costs for them being nice to me)
When I called the ACT people about my 20K loan, they were actually laughing with me as I was cracking jokes. Im in CA. The SL debt is taken care of through the ACT firm that is taking away $5 a month for the next 10 months which will get my loan back to “normal” standing, which in turn, will make my loan go from defaulted to a “normal” loan again.

I have 3 K in CC debt and am shitting my pants. Its in collections, but I am already in collections for my SL debt of 20K (this one is being addressed already with ACT debt collections) and I owe ATT 500.
