Twice in the same game, (using the 49ers) my RB (Frank Gore) was tackled/hit by my own O-Linemen after crossing the line of scrimmage, the blocker was turned around and straight tackled him, then later in the same game, ran opposite side and he was “hit-sticked” by my own teammate. Horrible!

I was taught to have my arms crossed when doing front squats as well. However, if one is doing olympic lifts, ie, Power Cleans, Clean & Jerk, you are better off with the wrist rolling back (palms up) technique but this also does feel awkward for most.
