@van_line: What if Gamer A wants to keep his copy because he enjoys the game? Then Gamer B and C would go out and buy the game from the store.

@Yertle8: Well, that sucks. Nobody wins then. But what about sites like [Amazon.com] and Walmart.com? They sell stuff those for cheaper than what you buy in-store. With Walmart.com, it just makes me angry because it's the same product and the same company, but with a different price. Does Walmart get more money…
I'm completely against this. Locking away content that people paid money for, then demanding more money is not fair.
So in reality, the price of digital distribution games should be around $40, right? But instead, they're the same price as buying it in store. Not cool, dude.
@nesstee: The Fair Trade Law was repealed, though.
@Kristopher.W: I don't remember ever having to install Killzone 2. In fact... [kotaku.com]
@MrEvil: Action RPGs usually are much more replayable than, say, Final Fantasy or some... other JRPG franchise. So it would be valid to say that games such as Mass Effect and Fallout are more replayable because they simply have more content than shooters, but are still kind of shooters.
Or... you could sell your games yourself and get just as much money as this temporary promotion offers, excpt all of the time.
@ralvarez: Either roll back to XP, or go ahead and get Windows 7. My mom's PC still has Vista, and I can't stand it after upgrading to Windows 7. Using Vista just feels so... gloomy.
@MacGyver1138: I see now. I must comment more, then! And I guess no more arguing in support of the used video game market.
@abbe: I wish PlayStation would move to DirectX. With DirectX 11, shadows are like real shadows in how the further the shadow is from the object, the blurrier it gets! :D
@gblock: It makes complete sense. VALVe is a PC developer. They can have more power than with Xbox or PlayStation, because they have Steam on PC. Anyways, it's a good change from the normal treatment of PC gamers these days. Most devs just release broken, buggy, unoptimized PC ports and take forever to fix them, while…
@sereal: EA shuts down their servers. But then again, they aren't like other companies. Xbox LIVE on original Xboxes shut down recently, also. That's all I can think of.
@ffboi7: I felt the same about getting the 120GB, then the 250GB coming out. And with getting the 20GB Premium Xbox 360 then the 60GB coming out. Both of these happened conveniently within a week after my return period ended. Am I just unlucky, or are they out to get me? *puts on tin foil hat*
@MacGyver1138: Do I get my star now? How do you even get them, anyways?
@MacGyver1138: A plasma grenade trophy(you could take it off of the pedestal if you wanted) that pulses and radiates a blue glow. That would be very cool. They could also do a Sangheili helmet, since they've finally gotten rid of the brutes(does a happy dance). No. No. No. I know what they could do. They could make…
@DanBroChill: I feel that Left 4 Dead 2 is simply the full Left 4 Dead, and that the first Left 4 Dead was just a fully priced beta. It's like Vista and Windows 7.
@toejam316: Crysis Warhead is a PC exclusive. They're both exclusives. Do they have to be for the same platform? And Halo 3: ODST is by no means a console seller. Halo: Reach will be, though.
@fearing: The shutting down of Xbox LIVE on the original makes me giddy. Now we'll finally be able to go past 100 on our friends lists!
@CanaryWundaboy: Killzone and Gears of War should satisfy your description.
