IMO 2003 -2004 was the last good years for Nissan in terms of their product offerings. I had driven a bunch of 350Z, Maxima and Altima models which were tough competitors or leaders in their product segments. The Altima was so successful it had Toyota and Honda scrambling to improve the Camry and Accord.

Sorry I was wrong in what i wrote above. There is a difference between a 50 or more over the limit ticket and a stunt driving/racing/50 over ticket. So my friend still faces a fine + possible suspension for 1 year + jail + 100% insurance increase..... damn.

It won’t be that much. A friend of mine got clocked going 200kph (in a posted 100) and got impounded, court summons. They don’t give you a fine when you get pulled over. He went to court, still ongoing but I bet it will be like $4-500 and the impound fee was like $1200 for 7 days.

I think the WRC is planning on going hybrid/electric in 2022. I think its a good start in the direction of full electrification.

If the NCAA kicks California out the state should help the schools create their own NCAA competitor league where athletes get paid.
