I bought it for use on my Steam Deck. Seems to run well so far. The only issue I’ve seen is if you try to use the Deck’s native resolution (1280x800) it sets the frame rate to 90 with no option to set it lower. And, for some reason, this causes all the other settings to default to their lowest settings.  But if you

I got a completely opposite read of everything suggested in this article. I think the interviewer’s comment was a bit offensive, as that line has been suggested to have been read in a monotone by so many (and to be silly scripting). But, she’s correct… how can anybody truly know anything by a line taken out of context.

My only complaint here is that Viewtiful Joe is missing an that game was insanely good.

You’re wasting your time, they don’t care.

Did an AI write this or are there just no editors at Kotaku now?

Generalization is general :D

Eh, I mean, I’d drop the James subplot, and little Nicky. Everything that ultimately leads to the Black Lodge is still great.

Hope it doesn’t get lonely over there for you.

Top 15 maybe. Kotaku has really gone down the drain for the past 3 years

This is maybe one of the top five worst takes ever posted on Kotaku.

I disagree in part. I feel like that moment was much more effective in the game, as though Ellie was traumatized to the degree where she was incapable of stopping herself slamming the machete home until Joel stopped her, the musical cue playing over the dialogue was much stronger than being able to hear everything.

If it’s Bayonetta I’ll... I’ll start dressing like Bayonetta. No wait, that’s hardly an incentive. If it’s not Bayonetta, I’ll dress like Bayonetta.

Samus would be cool too.

Agreed on the latter, my worry for the episode was that Joel was going to come in and save her from the evil preacher, when part of the whole point of this arc is Elle having to protect herself without Joel there.

non-male-friendly? What does that mean?

I’d be more interested in Chell

Now playing

Noclip made a fantastic documentary about the making of Prey, and they talk about the way the decision was handed down by Bethesda. Basically, Bethesda gave Arkane full creative control over the game and the only thing they would not budge on was the name. So they did it. It’s a pretty great documentary, and I thought

You’re absolutely right. Viewing one person as a person immediately diminishes all other injustices in the world. Truly, justice and goodness are part of a zero sum game.

“Not having used one” followed by “but it’s safe to say”

No. If you’re doing an honest review, omit these kind of things. I honestly stopped seriously reading this there since it shows there’s zero credibility here, but the rest is entertaining.

Post the specs, sure. Don’t say dumb shit like this.
