From what I’ve heard, both GTA4 and RDR had multiple R* teams working on it concurrently as they were pushing for their initial release. This means source code was split between multiple studios, among multiple teams. This was back before remasters were the hot new craze - so they were likely even less careful with

From what I understand, the RDR source code is all over the place because R* was having multiple studios work on various parts of it at the end just to get it out the door. I’ve heard multiple times that a RDR remaster would be a *lot* of work - just in tracking everything down.

I don’t know how true that is, but, at

For some reason, I thought Co-op was expected to come out a couple of months after initial release. I assumed it had.

Mind-boggling.

I like when companies take risks and do something that might actually go AGAINST what their customers are saying they want. The best products are the ones that give you something you didn’t even know you wanted from a franchise.

That being said, you need to take smart risks, have a real vision, and be confident that

Did you know that if you can identify a greater injustice it, somehow, negates all lesser injustices?

Sure, but that doesn’t really have anything to do with this guy who is talking about the community “finishing” this, specific, “demo”.

I want more developers to actually get into the “bad memories” and problems they encountered in development. They’re always the best stories - even if many of them are just stories of Publishers or License Holders being indecisive or making absurdly stupid choices.

Of course, NDAs are the main reason they can’t speak

More like all kinds of “I don’t actually know what goes into game development - or even modding - but I’m going to take it upon myself to speak on behalf of the fanbase that *might* attempt to mod this because it makes me feel smart and important.”

Why would she tell him to click on it if it’s allegedly advertising a ‘new sex tape’?

Did you really expect him to take them to task during a celebration of games? There is a time and place - and a video game celebration isn’t the time nor place. As long as they don’t allow Blizzard to be a spotlight of the show, then they’ve done their part during this presentation.

I mean, why haven’t you been
