PBS makes some good shit, watched a ton of their stuff on on Netflix. It would be a real shame if a bunch of immoral greedy fucks were to defund it.

So.. kill him to teach him that killing people is wrong?

Kinda like how everyone being armed doesn’t stop gun violence either.

FIRE.

They probably saw flames in the rear view mirror and were trying to get away.

Who cares about it being sanctioned? This will become similar to the “1 hour” in cycling, and that’s cool as hell. This was AWESOME and anyone who enjoys running (that is not a Nike hater) loved this.

Well, actually, if you listen to it again, he basically just repeated the other announcer’s comment.

Swing and a miss, Katherine.

Sunk cost fallacy

Hi. @myriachan on Twitter =^-^=

Because people too much goddamn stock in fictional portrayals of who they think represents them instead of finding actual people who do.

+1 Coriolis effect.

There was a restaurant in the town where I went to college that would charge $2-$3 for a soda and they wouldn’t give you refills, so you’d keep paying $2-$3 a pop for soft drinks when a burger was something like $7-$10. Said restaurant conveniently left this off their menu.

5 gallons of unsweet tea costs about $0.50, including labor cost. Sweet tea costs about $1.25 for 5 gallons. When I was doing restaurant work, we figured we made about $45 per 5 gallons.

In France, a soft drink will cost more than a glass of wine at a restaurant.

That’s halfway to beer prices

My initial response was going to be how you’re also paying for the effort to fill the glass with ice and beverage possibly multiple times since I’m guessing they price it on an assumption of more than one serving per order. But you can get unlimited water for free so you’re right, it’s silly what they charge for it.

Need a better relationship with your dealer.

Oh, well if he’s immortal, I guess it’s not that big a deal.
