I know that it was well-intentioned on the part of management, but it’s just....such bad business. Very sad.

I actually have a lot of experience in these areas, my job in that case being the account person who has to have these REALLY fun conversations. That’s a lie. It’s not fun at all. It is a waste of time and energy for everyone involved, and they happen too freaking often.
