My friend inadvertently box-dyed her hair black when we were in high school. It was only black for the weekend or a week then she was able to get it colour-corrected by her hairdresser into a dark brown that was less stark. She’s since had blonde, brunette, and red hair.

I’m a museum assistant and today we had an unpleasant elderly woman. She felt it was necessary to make rude comments, within earshot, after I briefly greeted her and her husband from my desk whilst working on our programming for next week. She subsequently complained to our museum director about several museum

It’s even complete with the gushing social media posts.

I started reading my high school journals a few years ago and they are hysterically funny. We had a large group of friends in a small town which made everything (parties/dating/fights/break-ups) something of a soap opera. I don’t know exactly what it was about middle school, as I had a rather average experience complet

All of middle school was horribly embarrassing and I’m grateful I didn’t keep journals or have social media during it. I’m also very thankful academic streaming made almost all of the raging assholes disappear in high school.

You likely won’t get away with this or get the response you’re hoping for, given that most vegetarians/vegans do remember what meat smells/tastes/looks like.

I’ve made myself the rules that I don’t write entries in graphic detail (I.e. it can be embarrassing but not mortifying) and that I don’t re-read journal entries unless they are more than two years old.

I’m likely going to make myself a greyhound shortly.

I haven’t watched a complete season since Freak Show (I only watched episodes 1-10 of Hotel and lost interest, even though I liked that season more than Freak Show).

I have a similar relationship with the musical. My grandmother loves it and my mom saw it with my great-grandmother in London in the 80s.

I already own CATS (1998) on VHS and DVD so I don’t know why we need this.

I haven’t heard it applied to fire-fighter badges but I imagine the negative response is connected to the “don’t wear military medallions unless you earned them even if you were an immediate family member of the deceased” attitude and laws surrounding military decoration. I don’t think fire-fighter badges have the

It’s such hooey. Most of the places I know that offer “girls’ night” discounts also have “boys’ night” discounts. You can be any gender and participate in either discount, as long as you are okay with having the fruity cocktails/domestic beer of the evening.

As an Ontarian, I’m disappointed that they’re returning to the outdated 1998 curriculum. It’s so important that children get age-appropriate sex-education at school because they might not have that opportunity at home.

I date men, women, and non-binary people. This makes me, in emoji parlance, a unicorn. Lots of couples on apps are looking for thirds. Again, this is fine...But it has happened multiple times that I match with a supposedly single person and get messaged about joining a threesome.

We’ve also had miniature schnauzers in our immediate and extended family too. They’ve lived to 12, 15, and 11+ (our current dog is still clunking along) respectively. I’ve always thought they did so well because our breeder didn’t overproduce/had another source of income and that that size of dog (10lbs-18lbs) allowed

Ariana Grande spoke about having hair damage a few years ago as a result of bleaching it for her Disney Channel television program. So I understand the fake hair but why the fake high-ponytail in a “sexy” music video? Wasn’t there a better long-haired wig she could wear for a few days on set?

It reminds me of middle-school boys claiming to have “made it” with Alison in the change room.

I was also wearing these (in the late 00s) in middle school. I stopped wearing them because the tank-top frequently resulted in me flashing people when I went cliff-jumping.

I read Emma Cline’s The Girls last summer at the cottage and I liked it. The friendship dynamic between Evie and Suzanne was the part of the book I found the most interesting.
