Did you really expect a tally of frogs, fish, snakes affected by this demolition? Measuring environmental impact is quite the act of hand waving... usually rated as: none, minimal, moderate, severe, China. I think that’s the international scale most commonly used.

That is a valid point, but the truth is a central plant burning fossil fuels is more efficient than millions cars doing the same. Additionally, as it has been pointed out, many plants don’t burn fossil fuels. Overall, electricity is cleaner. Not perfect, but cleaner.

Yes, all these hydrophobic coatings are fragile... and wear off to quickly to be of much use.

UNC fan here... Obviously I wished it would’ve gone the other way. But it was a great game and Villanova deserved it. One to remember, for sure.

“If you want to provide very little relief.....”
Tell someone who desperately needs insulin just how little that relief is :-/

Nice!

Now playing

I’ll see your 700 tons and raise you 12,300

Nice. A drone story that doesn’t make me want to shoot down a drone. I think this could be used in disaster relief situations, too.

The bigger diameter was to prevent it from turning into a tire down a hill scene... not to accommodate extremely large people. Although, even the person demonstrating it looks a little cramped.

Or, just have motion sensors for way cheaper and you don’t have to wear a dumb watch, excuse me, a smart watch*

I thought that, too. Make the diameter bigger and this would be great.

When does Panasonic move in, and actually start making batteries?

No. I am all for safety nets and social programs for the poor. But to guarantee housing for life in the location of choice for someone? No, I don’t think that is reasonable. I also don’t think threatening to stomp on the back of someone’s head whilst he/she bites a curb is reasonable... buy I suspect expecting

Great, you probably sleep well at night. Now let others earn what they get. If you can’t afford it, you lose it. Deal with it.

I wasn’t resonding to the family that got ‘pushed out’... I was responding to an entitlist prick... you!

There is no great white conspiracy to oust the poor. You honestly think tens of thousand of white individuals and families are deliberately buying up homes to oust the local (black) poor? Get real.

I have sets of both. And I have common sense and I don’t have an entitlist attitude. It sucks not having enough money to live where you most want... but that is life. I drive inexpensive cars (always buy used) because it fits my budget... I don’t moan that I can’t afford a $50k car... I accept it and move on. Check

Yes, we have a right to pursue happiness... if you are priced out and you cannot afford it... that sucks, I feel sorry for you... but you simply will have to move. I HAVE moved out of a city due to cost of living. I had an apartment and when I wanted my own home, I couldn’t afford the housing prices. I moved about 30

Are they pushing them out, really? Come on, I’m so tired of hearing this. I’m not rich by any stretch. I live where I can afford... and I don’t b*tch that there are people that have more money than me that can live wherever they want. No one is pushing anyone. If the cost of living goes up, that’s life. Move somewhere
