“Vintage” is the one I always see as a synonym for old and busted.

Calm down Grumpy McSour, you’re going to tear something.
Just FYI, Energy Star ratings are a joke:
I got fed up with cable/sattelite years ago. My cable bill is $0. I only have internet and I stream 95% of my content (the other 5% is over the air via rabbit ears... seriously).
And what about the OTHER problem with these?
“Hairy Panic”
You need more stars!
You sound like my wife who shops for overpriced shoes. ‘A pair of boots retailing for $400 and marked down to the amazingly low price of $225! Way, if I buy these I’ll be saving $175! I’m awesome.’
That is exactly right. Tesla better hurry and make more cars while the iron is hot... the crutch holding them up (subsidies) will soon be no more.
This was the lead car:
I agree. I’ve not been a big fan of Tesla to date, mostly because their cars are novelties (luxury cars)... and won’t really make an impact. But with this car being <$30k after rebates! That is awesome. I have no idea how they can do this cheaper than the Bolt... but I am truly impressed.
Back ‘when watches were a thing’ it was common to have the same watch model in two different sizes (not just men/women)... But the watch market is almost non existent (despite what some want you to believe). It may pick back up... but until it makes financial sense, it’s “one size fits most.”
I know this... but people ridicule F as if it is some uneducated AMERICAN invention. It is neither.
I am a nuclear proponent. I look at a cooling tower everyday from my house... and fish the lake it sits next to. My point was the volume was actually pretty small. I agree about coal... Thanks to coal nearly every ocean fish contains mercury... and we seem to just accept this.
Uh, Fahrenheit was a German physicist’s creation... and it is based on physical observations (freezing point of a brine solution being one)... albeit silly ones. I’m not defending the US’s inability to change... just pointing out the origin of F.
If 0.013s is an eternity, what is 0.887s? That’s the thing about percentages... they are relative... 1.5% is 1.5%. I’m in the ‘broken, but not shattered’ camp! Shame on you Masshole for yielding so easily.
And air travel produces around 2% of man made CO2 emissions... so, don’t expect a measurable impact even if airlines increased efficiency by, say, 50%.
I like phase 2 “... locate leaking well with technology.”
Ha! I must not have been clear. My use of ‘reverse racism’ (which is a ridiculous term) was to highlight just how ridiculous your claim of racism in the NFL is.
