Gee, shocking, the comments here are much different than the ones under the linked nj.com article.

I still can't find the exact interview with Spot, but here is more, don't know where this is sourced from (maybe Our Band?, been awhile since I read it)

I *think* it might have been the interview with Spot in Tape Op where I read it come to think of it. He said something to the effect of how he was listening to the master tape and kept hearing (possibly horns) or something inbetween the songs. He cranked the sound way up during a quiet part and figured out what it

I remember renting that at the video store just so I could hook my tape deck up to my VCR and record that line off for use in mix tapes.

They might have to do one to fund all the lawyers they've needed so far and probably will need in the future just to reissue the catalogue

I thought the same thing! My SST Metal Circus shirt is now in my "archive" since it doesn't look so hot in "public" anymore.

Somewhere I read that the 2" master for Zen Arcade is actually a retread, the original recording on that tape was a Bee Gees TV special.

They did this once already for the Watching the Planets video, but that was naked folks on bikes.

yup, and then when people go a-SQL-ing, nobody can find them!

Ah, memories! And bad ones at that.

$5000? Heh, I just got mine in PDF form off of Bittorrent.

That is a good point, but I know you can put a hair dryer up against one side. Regular glass windows your hand will start to burn, but if they are filled (though it could just maybe be the low-e glass) your hand won't get so hot.

..and some of that argon is trapped in my home windows…at least until the 20 year warranty expires to which the seals will promptly break and the argon is suddenly free again.

More than you probably want to know, or maybe you do!

…and on the 2/5/75 Main Point show her name is Angeline!

ah, yeah, this I think first came out on the Born in the Studio bootleg. There are a bunch of River demos out there on the net that sound a lot like this.

I always got a bunch of shit from the punk rock kids coming into the record store when I'd wear a Bruce t-shirt. "He sucks…well, except for Nebraska, that was awesome, otherwise he sucks" they would say.

This was a great tour also. He played theaters and it was known on the Luckytown email list that after the show, if you ignored the security long enough, Bruce would come out and say hello. I took some photos and then the next night in Seattle Bruce recognized me, just because I had the same Boss Hog t-shirt on and

Although he is covering one of his older band's songs, I can't help but think of how much better I like Nova Mob's uptempo cover of Husker Du's "No Promise I Have Made":
