She had to use a 7" Android tablet. I don't think it was her fault.

You mean Jersey Shore, the show that represents a small piece of the state.

"everyone just buys the upgrades."

Well Macs can run anything Windows can if you just install Windows, but I was under the impression that both CAD and Maya natively ran on OS X...

I could see them blocking it. As unfair as it is, I think a lot of the comments may have been unfair too. A lot of features have definitely been stripped (and are rumored to be added back with some updates eventually) but if you read any reviews from people that have thoroughly used it, they seem to think it's a

I'd say it's more like Wal Mart trying to trademark the words "Wal" and "Mart" in that order, which I'm sure they have.

That headline was very misleading.

I think it's safer to say that he uses that as one example, it being a numerical representation. If you think that means that iOS apps are, in general, 0.2 better than Android, that's silly.

That statement was not based on the 4.5 vs 4.8 rating. His point is that you can still make money on Android, and in fact it's almost easier to be recognized with a higher quality product because you're swimming in a mess of low quality products, in comparison to the App Store which has much more high quality apps.

"In fact, I'd go as far as to say that a polished, high quality product is more likely to be embraced on Android than on iOS because the quality bar on the android market is so pathetically low."

For anyone on a Mac, Command+Option+Esc obviously brings up the task manager, but if you want to force quit your active app, just hold Command+Option+Shift+Esc for a couple seconds and that app will immediately force quit, bypassing the task manager completely! Fewer clicks.

Awesome, thanks for the overview!! I really appreciate it. It sounds like I should maybe wait a little bit. I'll give it a month or two. Every time I get a notification I wish I had iOS 5 haha.

Whoa, crossfade! That's new. I'm sure they'll add it. Still in beta. Either that or they want you to use Genius.

I'm not sure, but I would assume it's ad-free. Maybe has really nice paper?

Whoa! That's what the player looks like now?? And isn't that the shuffle button right next to the timeline/scrubber or whatever it's called? Repeat is on the left, Shuffle is on the right. At least, that's what I'm seeing.

Wait, so iCloud does stream music? As long as it was originally purchased through iTunes? I thought both iTunes Match items and iTunes purchases were only downloaded?

Simple Desktops is a great place to find minimalist wallpapers like these.

Yeah... I don't really get it. I guess it's comparatively the fastest? Like this one has beaten its current lineup by the most? Maybe?

I want it so bad. I paid to get my UDID activated but I'm scared! I need flipboard and twitter to work and ~3 months is a long time to wait for more stability. But it really does look like iOS5 beta is working perfectly fine.

It's pretty hidden, but there. In "Song View" you can pull down the list and a shuffle button will appear (not unlike pulling down your inbox to reveal Search.)
