TINNED food? I've never heard anyone call it that. That's one cool bed, though.

@MazdaMania: The iPad is much lighter than any netbook that has a 10" screen. It's also more durable since there aren't many pieces to break, and the battery life kills any netbook's battery life. Sure, a netbook may be more versatile as far as content creation, but if you only need to access the web and do some text

@Zinger314: at that price you can't NOT talk in a funny voice!

@dfp3050: way to zing family guy! MATT GROENING FOREVER.

@Misterine: Hahaha, ah the golden age of the Simpsons. This also reminds me of "a gift basket of poisons is being delivered to your home."

All work and no hmtl5 makes homer something something...

The image on the tv is anamorphic, or squeezed. I think his eyelashes are squeezed to look more like circles than ovals.

@cec: I love that I don't have to buy a laptop anymore. I buy a desktop for work and have my iPad for play/travel computing. This way I get a really powerful computer for less money than a laptop, then the money I saved goes towards my iPad which is the ultimate portable computer (as long as you don't need to do real

Html5 please

@FriarNurgle: Same here. I got the iPhone and the 1500 text plan thinking it'd be okay. I was at 500 texts in about 5 days.

@trs: Ah, okay. I hadn't noticed but that may be true. Thanks!

@zimbabwaenquadrillionare: But if Apple didn't fight Flash, there wouldn't BE an option. It would just be Flash because nobody would have any reason to adopt HTML5. Apple is in a unique position as a big player in the mobile market. You should really be thanking them that you HAVE the choice, in my opinion.

Hasn't this been happening for a while? I've been able to play Vimeo on my iPad since I got it. I probably just didn't read something correctly... someone please inform me. PLEASE.

He probably thinks it looks ugly. It's the same reason Macs don't have all those shitty stickers all over them that PCs have! :)

@stabbytheicepic: I have an iPhone 4 in NYC and have great reception. I switched from a Verizon EnV3 and couldn't be happier. I'm sure in other areas At&t has spottier coverage (and probably overall) but my iPhone picks up signal just fine and I have yet to be able to recreate the "death grip" issue.

@justinpe: let's wait and see how many people actually maliciously use it.

@badasscat: There IS no bulk. It's still extremely small; much smaller than the Droid X.

They don't make your phone wear a bulky case, they just make a bulky phone that's still bulkier than iPhone 4 with its bumper.

@meehawl: No but I imagine it's good. Wacom tablets are great. Like the Magic Trackpad, it's something better suited for touch computing on a traditional pc
