Had a job in college delivering flowers for a local florist. It was either super busy or completely dead. Lots of time to read and do homework.  Great, family-owned business.

Neither good guy nor bad guy. Just a guy who wasn’t going to tip someone who was shit at their job.  I’ve spend a number of years in jobs working for tips.  If I fuck up, I understand that I’m not getting tipped.

Story. Many moons ago I was taking a Super Shuttle home from the airport. The driver was new. He took out-of-the-way routes to drop off people and did it in a manner that required him to double back - this was pre-GPS days. The passengers are giving him an earful. I say nothing. At one point the diver is so frazzled…

Would be a helluva’ article to read the backstories of how these cars ended up abandoned. Hint, hint.
