Haha, I remember seeing that. I feel like being conscientious of it is enough, at least for now.

I have trouble since I tend to be a fast eater compared to those I habitually eat with. It's a combination of me being fairly fast and them being fairly slow. When eating in or out, I am often embarrassed that I have already scarfed half of my food before they've really gotten started. I've found myself just putting…
I'm looking forward to when it becomes native to Chrome. It's something that has become a formidable tool on my phone. I assume we have a little while longer to wait though.
On my TV, I have a fairly old mid-grade gaming rig hooked up (circa 2008, about $1100 worth of equipment). With a good wireless keyboard/trackpad combo and a good wireless mouse for when I play games, it has been my entertainment center.
I'm also a fan of the wine club method. I got it as a gift for my now wife and we get a decent variety for a pretty good price. Not being much into wine, I still feel like a wine-idiot, but at least we're trying and we read the little info cards, albeit with a grain of salt.
+1 to this. Also, some keyboard shortcuts for comment paging side to side would be appreciated. Based on the 'standard' keyboard shortcut layout, I would think that n/p for next/previous comment screen would be intuitive. (http://support.google.com/reader/answer/…)
I use a tablet case that has a folding back front flap that fits into the groove above my microwave (above the range). It fits snuggly and securely and the tablet hangs down in landscape mode. It is pretty much out of the way when cooking normally since I usually don't need the microwave while cooking "real food."
I had similar issues with the Amazon Appstore. I finally gave up and got rid of it, free apps and all. It's crazy that a company that has such a handle on streamlining and efficiency, including some awesome website algorithms can have such a bloated, crap for an app.
I've been using NewsBlur for a total of about 24 hours, but one thing that I'm liking over Google Reader already: having the "Story" tab clicked so I can see the webpage (and therefore the comments). We'll see how it goes from here.
ASUS RT-N56U - good router for the price, I think.
Cool. I've been using cd.justinjc.com for a long time for this kind of thing (with a custom search engine in Chrome). However I do like how e.ggtimer.com brings your attention back to the page with a popup where my old solution only had a beep.
Here's a related, but different issue.
I have some thoughts on this, as a commuter/traveler.
I've heard that honeys can vary wildly in their sugar content and whatnot. For that reason, it is not advised to use the squeezy-bear variety for this kind of thing. Especically if you want to 'dial-in' a good method you like. I've brewed a honey beer or two and I would recommend maybe using northernbrewer.com to…
If Iran, Russia, and China use Gizmodo as their source on American military hardware, they have bigger problems.
You didn't mention the built in task list in gmail. It is very quick to add a email to the list via "Shift+T". It also adds a little link to the source email. It is way more useful than having a separate account to handle todos, imho.
I hope to get a Nexus 4 by 2014. I'm not hopeful.
Is there any way to get a video out of a Nexus 7 without streaming to another device? I think that the USB plug doesn't support the video out protocol that a lot of android devices use (can't remember the name).
Thanks, it does. I am hoping to avoid the Lightroom pricetag. Flash Renamer looks really promising and I think I'll be giving it a go here soon.
A bunch. Having just gone through the pain of reorganizing my collection, I would point to changing the filenames based on the exif date/time stamp. I used Namexif (very simple, but it gets the job done). I had a bunch of old pics that were yanked from various sources without exif, which I manually edited to get…
