I live about 10 miles from the New Jersey Coast Guard base in Cape May, the men and women who patrol these waters and other areas are incredibly well trained and professional. IMO they are an underappreciated branch of our armed services.

The Coast Guard MSRT’s are constantly patrolling and working the Detroit River where I work. I’m going to feel a hell of a lot less safe if they go away.
