Surfs a flaming Suburban into a lake. Leaps from the blazing inferno... and holds his nose like a little girl before he hits the water.

The GT40 came out and immediately won it’s first race ever. To this day, at any given time there is a GT40 crossing a finish line in first somewhere in the world. In the time it took you to read this sentance, the GT40 won 6 races.

No one actually thought this heavily invested in, incredibly elaborate project was over

Refusing to let another driver past simply because your car has more power than his/hers.

I don’t think the Wolfsburg Jetta was exclusively a 16V. I think you could get a GLI Wolfsburg. But I’m pretty sure to get the 16v in a MK2 you had to get a GTI/GLI

Wolfsburg just means that it was made in Wolfsburg Germany. The Jetta Gli had the 16v...

HAH! Maybe so, but you’d think for the amount of BS the guy is spewing about this (The mk2 Wolfsburg had a 16v, not an 8v), he’d have at least cleaned up the engine bay a little. That engine LOOKS blown.

Hmm might be how they came from the factory. I don’t remember the last time I saw a dry valve cover on a MKII 8v. HA!

That valve cover is a bit...moist. I wonder how long ago the head gasket blew...

This kind of ego-fueled bullshit may be what I hate most about car “enthusiasts.”

God damn it. I seriously read that as “unite” and then scrolled around the the other comments before glancing back at this and realizing what it actually said.

So basically, in order for F1 to make any kind of meaningful changes or improvements we are all just sitting around, waiting for Bernie to die.

I think generally these classless cars have free-balling spirits.

Yes, not listing the M1 Abrams was a huge oversight.

I just Foxtrotalpha’d this thread.

Cuz, turbines.

They cancelled right on the eve of the my most anticipated match up (R vs STI). To make matters worse, the feature exists, they have it on tape, and they won't run it. Why does the BBC hate the world?

"When the police came to my door, I did what most Canadians are taught to do, I cooperated," Adam Tang told BC's Global News in an on-the-lam interview. "And if I didn't cooperate, I wouldn't be in this mess."

My first car was a Golf 1 convertible that I inherited from my mother. And I still own it! It's sitting in my garage in Germany. Every time I think about selling it I drive it and I just can't.

What exactly is the reason for the decision not to release the Sportwagen in the US Market?

Whose decision was it to debut the R Wagon here? Are they also responsible for making the decision as to whether or not they'll sell it here? Do they have a weakness and how do we exploit it?
