because rayman legends and origins put the new mario bros games to shame on every level

Nintendo isn’t losing anything. If the rumours are to be believed, Ubisoft is the one bankrolling this title. Mario is on loan to them and the game is being developed by them. If it tanks, Ubisoft is the one to lose money, not Nintendo.

They’re losing they money they put into the game if it doesn’t sell.

It’s always a good thing to remind people of the serious Early Access developers.

If ever there were a dev to give the “No Early Access” exception to, it’s Klei. Invisible Inc. and Don’t Starve are incredible games that both passed the test of Early Access.

I want this on my Switch so bad.

Onscreen D-pads tend to not work well, and you’re blocking parts of the screen with your finger(s) when using such controls, making it harder to see what’s going on. Undoubtedly that’s why SMB was made into an endless runner.

I’m not a huge fan of the randomly generated levels fad that’s been going on. As you mention in the article, the world’s are nowhere near as detailed. They tout that it makes games infinitely replayable, but I’d rather have a playthrough of memorable handcrafted levels over multiple randomly generated playthroughs.

Yeah, people laughed at Obama (mom jeans!) or Bush (what a bad throw!) when they would do their one pitch a year. And this is different, then it was a ceremonial first pitch. Here Putin is play-acting that he’s good at hockey, when he isn’t.

Russians learned a long time ago what happens when they laugh at their leaders.

Nah, reviewers get copies of new games every week and it’s very rare for any professional outlet to break embargo. What’s more likely is that Bethesda wants to have complete control over their marketing message until the last possible minute.

Something else you may wish to mention that I experienced while here: Not only are most of the puzzles able to be solved by one person, they are presented on worksheets or in sizes so small they have to be.

I never said only for children, it is a game designed to be easily accessible so that children can pick it up and play without needing to understand complex concepts. But yes we are all big children.

You want a tutorial for a game designed for children...?

I had never played a MK game before this one. I rented it on the Switch and was DONE after like 2 races...
