The tackle box for bolts is brilliant. I cant force myself to bag fasteners reliably even though its cost me more than once (especially when the 30 minute job escalates into a 3 hour one) but I could do this.

There’s some awesome advice in this one.

Ngl, we had the 2012 5spd hatch Focus and it was great for what it was. Moved on from it when we became a family that could manage to have a ‘fun’ car in the fleet. Still see it around town some times.

LOL, years ago we were on the CA coast and stopped at a state park area that had a bunch of sea lions - wife wanted her camera out of the center console of the rental, hit the remote fob and asked me to get it. I pop inside, start rooting around in the center console - not finding the camera. I glance up and see a

A four second Google search shows many forum conversations about charges for certain colors. Here’s one from 2005.

Everyone knows that you have to caulk the wagon first.

And it has splitter guards, so that’s gotta be worth at least $100.

Not too much straightening going on any more, other than traditional truck ladder frames that are still made from mild steel. The higher the strength the steel is, the more resistant it is to pulling (you have to overpull to overcome spring back, will get tearout and collateral damage to adjacent structures) and the

If you take both sides of the argument, you can get double the articles.

I don’t even want to think how slow that must have been. I had a 1980 Pontiac Sunbird with the Iron Duke and it was sloooooooooooow. And that’s going to be much lighter than a Camaro.

Haha yep! My job duties include annual meetings with manufacturers, including GM. When we were meeting with them in 2014 - they had a preproduction Camaro prominently on display and one of the platforms engineers who was showing the car to us proudly exclaimed “and this is the FIRST Camaro with a 4 cylinder engine!” to

This is clearly the next thing the government needs to crack down on.  Fair pricing on advertising, i.e. no BS fees that get added onto the advertised price.

I bought a 1993 Loyale with 50K on it about a decade ago. True little old lady car. It did not enjoy being brought into commuter duty and within a couple weeks it was leaking oil from practically everywhere. A weekend and a $100 Rock Auto gasket set had it sorted and it was pretty flawless - slow AF but flawless until

It should be Wankpanzer Commander.

After filing a ticket with Tesla to get the truck rebooted, the Cybertrucker went to bed

So... the Cybertruck can serve briefly as a boat, but all Teslas can serve much longer as an oven.

She gave up “victim” status when she put her 0.23% ass behind the wheel, period.  It’s a miracle she crashed alone into a pond, and not into another vehicle containing 4 teens and a greyhound.

That’s a fair point - however, the friend she called likely wasn’t drunk to 3x the limit. If we’re giving a pass to the driver because of her state - I think we also need to call out the “friend” for inaction.

That pond kept a drunk driver from killing a family. That makes it a hero.
