We’ve known for a long time now that this wouldn’t be a sequel to the MKIV.

I wanted to love the Supra, I don’t. I still hope it will sell well enough that sports cars continue to be seen as viable by the major manufacturers. If it tanks I would bet there won’t be replacements for the Z, Miata, 86/BRZ etc. in the future.
I mean did it dominate? I was driving and reading every car-mag I could backn in the mid 90s and I recall it was midpack... In a crowded pack.
Don’t see why not. Tetsuya Tada recommends buying the base 2.0L car if that’s your plan.
Can we just fit a 2JZ-GTE and manual gearbox in that new Supra??? looks cool as hell tho
Alternatively:
Whuch planet are you from? Racing history? Pray tell.
What exactly is Patrick (or any of us) wrong about in wishing this was something more Supra and less BMW? Toyota is a business that makes things for the consumer to buy. They don’t owe us a darn thing, but we don’t owe them money either. I don’t see any reason why Patrick, or anyone, can’t be disappointed with this.
I wonder why she would lie about that, though. She may not have “taken pain pills,” but she used to be a functioning cocaine addict and she’s super open about it. Seems off-brand not to tell the truth about it...
Bad take: isn’t this your fault, too? You wanted a Supra, badly. You wanted the ultimate Toyota tuner-sports car, the follow-up to the revered JZA80. You wanted something that can equal it, maybe even surpass it. You wanted the 2JZ engine. You bugged them for god knows how long. You saw all the SUpra builds. You got…
Looks precisely like a BMW interior with a Toyota steering wheel. Even this UI is straight-up damn near identical to BMW:
So Narco Subs are a real thing. Why not narco tanks?
If we’re talking about smugglers crossing the desert in unbelievable vehicles, I’m pretty sure he’s referring to this:
That’s the fact, Jack!
A bit of Armour, a turret mounted gun and you’ve got yerself an Urban Assault Vehicle! (I’ve been waiting years to say this).
Because they are delusional twits with access to too much capital.
The irony is that one lane or tunnel of autonomous vehicles still cannot compete with the capacity of a conventional metro system. Why do tech bros try reinvent the wheel so they can try to suburbanize cities? Let urban areas be urban and top trying shoehorn cars into cities.
So when does he publish the 21st century version of Dianetics? Now I’m imagining a Tesla with an e-meter hooked to the steering wheel and it won’t let you drive until you’re ‘Clear’.
That’s how I feel about an Unimog. They give me the weirdest boners. But they (the older models I can afford) suffer the same problems of the Hummer.
NP, all day, err'day. 12K is a steal for a Porsche that appears to just need a little work. Seats are easily replaceable, too.
