I know. What is she? Like, 36 or something? That she’s still alive is a miracle of modern technology.

I think it’s an interesting point to make about fashion. Women are often commended for ‘androgyny’ even if that means just dressing in men’s clothing, but that rarely works in the other direction. There’s a comment below that exhorts them to shave when dressing in feminine clothes, but that’s exactly the opposite of…
Then they have accomplished their purpose as 80s shoes!
So you’re taking a hardline stance on queer being offensive, while simultaneously mocking terms invented by an oppressed community to describe themselves.
Although don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to discount his experiences or his viewpoint, genderqueer as presented in the article just seems like a way to say “I don’t buy the construct of gender essentialist behaviour”. Which, okay? Neither do I, but I don’t see myself as gender queer.
She’s just in her living room and every once in awhile she’s talking to the little girl and says something like. “You just have to believe in yourself to be a singer! Every note is...Pumpkin get off the couch.....every note is a sign from heaven that you should sing...no! Good boys don’t POOP ON THE COUCH. STOP NO…
While I acknowledge the expert match-job of lip and blazer, and do myself love to be matchy-matchy, I am dubious on the 80s power-cut of said blazer.
When in doubt, ask. :)

This looks terrible. But i am going to CLEARLY watch the shit out of it.
The Ivies have been under suspicion for deliberately suppressing Asian acceptance rates much like they used to for the Jews back in the 20s and 30s.
About a third of Yale’s admissions go to legacies. Another 20% are affirmative action for underrepresented minorities. Another 10-15% are athletes, most of whom are whites in non-revenue sports.
It would be if they just went by grades and scores.
Whatever. Éire is still a hellhole.

This is 2015. If you have events you want to discuss, do it. Blog it, Tweet it, go to Saturday Night Social. Find an appropriate venue and let your voice be heard to publicize what you think needs amplification.
You can and should grieve for whomever you feel, for as long as you want, as much as you want. I'll support you. However I can't support you if in the process you're minimizing or trying to take away the right of others to grieve according to their feelings.
We mourn everyone. Ok, asshole? I am so sick of the constant complaints about how we shouldn’t discuss Americans or the Paris attack because we haven’t discussed every goddamn horror that happens in this world at length. Give it a goddamn rest.
