As much as I want evs to succeed  I question the need to expand the credits.  Go try to buy any of these cars and get one in the next 6 months.  I think the demand side is strong enough on its own.  It feels like investing in charging infrastructure would do more to dance the cause.

Yeah, the obvious thing to point out in that Tesla/Miata/Prius/etc comparison is that the bike is giving you ALL of those AT THE SAME TIME, for a fraction of the price of any ONE of them.

Love acceleration? Buy a Tesla. Love cornering? Buy a Miata. Want to get 40 miles to the gallon all day long? Buy a Prius, an Accord Hybrid, hell, a Ford Maverick.
