Well they have certainly jiu-jitsued the show into a new direction and I like how the arc has shifted from the physical to the psychological. The Ripper storyline has closed for now and it is going to be a battle of minds between Will and Hannibal. The scene in the kitchen between Will and Hannibal was brilliant. It

Its really becoming a problem no? They need to give Donna a real love interest next season that is not Harvey and that is not a douche. Will Mike's new boss do? :D

Good story arc, but too compressed. Did not leave room for Rachel or Scottie to have their own stories. The job offer needed to come earlier in the season so that all the characters could have had good stories.

Nice pace in this episode, new characters added to the mix, old ones moving nicely to the next part of the story with the episode being bookended by two scenes that go quite easily on the list of the most fantastic scenes in the series. Loved the opening with Tywin: no words, but man was there some heavy subtext in

Nice catch on the cover tugging, it illustrates the point very well. So many times Will vs Hannibal is portrayed as a fight between a man who cannot help but empathize vs a man who cannot empathize and that is plain wrong.

'Alana’s main purpose this season is to be a sex object.'

Yup, that one made me smile. :)

Lovely interpretation.

The shoe will be on the other foot soon enough. :)

Great episode, all round brilliant acting. Raul Esparza as Chilton and Eddie Izzard as Gideon were particularly good. Chilton's weaseliness was delivered with great aplomb by Raul and Eddie gave a masterful performance where Gideon realized that his adroitness was not a match for Hannibal's. The transposition of

Yup, first I thought the background would fade in slowly , then it hit me that the background was a parking lot.

Yup, thats one of the great things about Fuller, he transposes source material to other characters/scenarios brilliantly. For me the best one so far was Hannibal telling Chilton 'It's nice to have and old friend for dinner.

That was one amazing lateral connection. :)

Yup. And as the audience we are being smug that Hannibal has finally slipped up. Then it turns out the dinner party was a feint to see who is still on Will's side.

I see what you did there. :)

She gets to stay, when Jessica goes to Louis' place she says 'I cant fire her for being loyal' or something along those lines.

I had a similar idea last week. Mike exits law for business and liaises with Pearson Specter as the contact person between the business and the law firm. Everything seems hunky dory for an episode or two and then in season 3 finale it turns out Mike's secret gets exposed for real. All of season 4 is about people in

Fair warning. Its a messy exercise. :)

She's a close family figure, the wife of Hannibal's uncle and becomes very important to Hannibal.

Yes. I really hope people read the source material before season 3 comes along. It's very likely that its going to give nightmares to the unprepared.
