Chicken enchiladas with sour cream and a kiwi martini on the side.

I am butting in to give a second vote to Utopia. :)

I think the difference in the two scenes has to do with the fact that it was Hannibal with Lass and Will with Bev. The first one was real time and had action, the second was a recreation and the action was missing.

Oh ya. I expect they will tone down Lounds' interaction with Dolerhyde a notch or two as the Lounds character was male in the book and is female here. But the brutality of the death will probably be at the same level.

Agree 100%

Quite likely.

Yup. The Japanese motif is a strong one in this season's music. Its a nod to Hannibal's aunt who was Japanese. She played a big role in Hannibal's life and is a major character in the book Hannibal Rising. If you have not done so already, then you should totally check it out if you are interested in the source

I also thought of the same thing. :)

Considering how Georgia Madchen was killed I don't think the show will have a problem going there.

Yup that particular storyline is really weak, it could have worked if she had deeper issues with her super rich lawyer dad. Their only issue is that he does not think she would make a good lawyer and hence she does not want to take his money.

Yup. This would have been a good move a few episodes earlier in season 3. Mike exits law for business and liaises with Pearson Specter as the contact person between the business and the law firm. Everything seems hunky dory for an episode or two and then in season 3 finale it turns out Mike's secret gets exposed for

I think we are going to have to agree to disagree. We keep circling around the same point. You cant fill more water in a glass than it can hold right? Fuller has pushed the boundary as far as it can go without distorting the sense of the original stories.

Well that is a constraint of the show. It has 13 hours a season for five seasons (we hope) and is developing the 4 canon books plus a non-canon story for Will. I dont see how Fuller could do more with the secondary characters like Bella and Alana than he has done in a limited time frame when deep characters like

Think we will see Hannibal use a bolt gun sometime? The Verger farm offers so much to do. :)

Yup, the dynamic of a character is much more important than their gender. The correct choice of gender can make the dynamic bloom more substantially. I think Fuller has done a great job with the dynamic-gender balance and made the story his own through this.

When the truth about Hannibal comes out, Will will feel vindicated, Jack and Alana will feel betrayed, Chilton and Lounds will sense another opportunity, Bedelia will feel relieved and avenged, the goofy guys will be flabbergasted and crack some jokes to cover to up. Where does Bev fit into this? What is her catharsis

Look you cant have it both ways. Either Bev is an important enough character that she becomes a danger to Hannibal or she is a side character like the goofy lab guys that Hannibal can completely ignore her. Bev's importance simply guarantees that the character was going to die at some point of time as the story is not

Damn Hannibal is the best show on TV right now. This weeks episode was spectacular!!!

Yup I get that. I really dislike the box setup, its just dumb. And the jail cell is weird cos how many setups does one hospital have?

Oh ya, but this way was better than some deus ex machina of doing it. particularly as Mike did not make the transcript himself but was given one by someone paying him back for a favor.
