I think a part of it is that Durant is a sensitive dude, and I think that’s okay. I respect it. And all the money and fame and success won’t turn someone who’s naturally insecure and introspective into Russell Westbrook. Some of the most successful people in all industries are walking around with imposter syndrome.
also the worst thing Ballmer might ask you to do is use a Surface, not listen to his vanity band
I don’t understand how someone so talented and accomplished can have such a fragile ego. Dude, we all know you’re good; one of the best offensive talents the league as ever seen. How you possibly could have thought people would embrace you for joining the best regular season team ever (the one that had literally…
You pointed out (but undersold) the main difference. Popovich cares about his players and, it seems, people in general. His surliness to the NBA brass, officials, and NBA media is, with few exceptions, completely appropriate. I loved the thing he did back in 2012 to send four of his best players home from a road trip…
And then when he had another one who Was Ready, he swiftly advanced to the Conference Finals and had a good shot at pushing the Warriors ruined by some untimely (and some might say malicious) injuries.
We saw it: He won 4 championships in 11 years. Tim Duncan was as Elite as they come and he was coached by Pop his entire career.
LOL at Chandler Parsons and “best of us”.
Parsons was the defender on that shot against the Rockets.
Basically my thoughts when the announcers were talking about how he had a triple-double and 29 points toward the end of the game. He was 11-31 and took 11 more shots than Paul George, who was 14-20!
Sportscenter and the Inside the NBA guys keep saying Russ had a great game. He was 11-31! I don’t care if he got a triple-double. That is not a good game.
I’d love to be a fly on the wall for the next few days. As soon as I saw those tidbits about people just ignoring his terrible/illegal orders in the Mueller report, I knew that would end up being his focus.
Does anyone think that the White walkers are going to pull a move like Rob did at the twins? I am almost willing to bet that when Winterfell gets attached ...there won’t be any night’s king or undead dragon with them, and it will be a smaller chunk of the undead....the good guys will barely survive (not all)....only…
Also gotta give credit to Montrezl Harrell, 25 points, 10 boards, didn’t miss a single field goal. Landry Shamet too, slash stats weren’t incredible but he was +15 and nobody else on either team did better than +7.
I was too lazy to change the channel in the third and somehow got to see that fourth quarter. I’m not sure this post even gives Lou Williams or the clips proper credit ...So when a team is down like 8 with about a minute left and you see them hit a 3 and everybody looks up at the scoreboard doing the math going,…
Russ shot better than either McCollum or Lillard today, had fewer turnovers than Dame, and had more assists than both of them combined. The problem is a philosophy that says “keep shooting” and gets you Schroder and George going 4/22 from deep. Russ was 0/4, but that’s not really “running wild,” is it?
Hell yeah, and Erdogan can eat a bag of dicks to boot
Let’s all remember this man wants him dead:
I’m really stuck trying to figure out if there’s any Serbian in history that has done more damage to Kings than Vlade Divac.
Funny thing is, they're both just actors
