I didn’t watch GOT for the first couple years for the same reason. My squeamish trick is to watch with my glasses, and take them off when it starts to get gory :) I suppose this only works if you’re pretty damn blind like myself.

Omg I do the same thing and I definitely thought I was the only crazy one. The hair straightener plagues my anxiety, but this most definitely helps! I also have to do a little dance or shout out in a silly voice that I locked the back door and closed the garage door or else it will haunt me all morning.

Ugh, I have recurring dreams about tornadoes and it’s weird because I’m not really afraid of storms. The dreams are always different but the same theme - I’m running from the storm, trying to hide, searching for shelter, etc. They are very stressful!!

Yeah, I thought it through a little more after the initial shock to the cancellation of my favorite summer show.
